Built an end-to-end studio workflow management tool for Fitting Farewell, delivered in lanes. Lane 1 (Engine Precision) and Lane 2 (The Creative Library) are built; Lane 3 (Extended Studio) and Lane 4 (Trade and Business) are next on the roadmap.
The problem
Running a funeral stationery studio means juggling scheduling, pricing, proofs, and a growing library of design and service content — much of it living in someone's head or a spreadsheet rather than a system. Scheduling was manual — workable, but time-intensive, and it didn't account for weekends and bank holidays, which meant dispatch dates could land on a Sunday or a proof deadline could fall on Christmas Eve. Every price change meant going back to a developer. Underneath all of it: the studio's own creative and service knowledge — design themes, proof history, curated content — wasn't captured anywhere that compounded. It got rebuilt, or lost, with every job.
What we did
Delivered in two lanes: Engine Precision (working-day scheduling, real supplier print costs, an in-app price list editor) and The Creative Library (a searchable hymns, poems and readings library, full proof version history, and a tagged design template library).
The result
Scheduling is automated around working days rather than done manually — a real saving on what was a time-intensive task. Every job shows real margin from the first booking, and the studio owns price changes directly without a developer. Design and service knowledge now lives inside the tool as an asset, not in one person's head.

Most workflow tools fix today's bottleneck and stop there. This one was built in lanes specifically so the studio's own knowledge — the design themes, the proof history, the service content — compounds inside the system with every job, instead of leaking out the door with whoever happened to be doing it.
