Full rebuild of the Fitting Farewell website — migrated off WPBakery Page Builder onto Elementor, with technical SEO fixes, restructured content, and two new AI-powered tools plus two new services launched alongside it.

The problem

The old site was built on WPBakery Page Builder — clunky to manage, and it showed. Technical SEO issues, weak internal linking, dated imagery, and a structure that didn't reflect what the business actually offered. Rankings had slipped to page 2 or 3 for the terms that mattered. And the site had nothing built for how people now find businesses — through AI-generated answers, not just search results.

What we did

Migrated off WPBakery onto Elementor, fixed technical SEO and internal linking, restructured content with a new Trade Services section, and built two AI-powered tools (Eulogy Writer and Photo Restorer) alongside two new service lines.

The result

Rankings moved from page 2/3 back onto page 1 for target terms, and the site is now cited in generative AI results. Two AI-powered tools — the Eulogy Writer and Photo Restorer — are live and taking enquiries, alongside two new service lines. The rebuild also fixed technical SEO and internal linking.
